Beschreibungen zu den Veranstaltungen: 

Let me be clear: I don’t want to become known, famous or anything like that. 

My aim is to make the autism spectrum known in society. Unfortunately, in everyday

life you only meet very few people who know that autism is not just what you see in

films, but that autism is much more diverse and includes many contradictions. 

These contradictions can sometimes be found in one and the same person and in

others, you have to know several people affected to notice them. 

This often makes autism something difficult to understand, something that autistic

people themselves often cannot explain, an outsider without autism usually doesn’t

understand at all and sometimes doesn’t even know that they don’t understand. 

So among autistic people there are not only introverts, strange-looking computer

specialists and scientists who can memorize pages of facts and calculate better than

any pocket calculator. But also autistic people who are friendly, like to deal with other

people and have occasionally even learned a profession in the social sector and

sometimes also work in this area. Special interests or even high talents, which can

usually be found in areas that no one else thinks about, are possible but not

mandatory. 

But I would also like to make my fellow human beings more aware and more sensitive

to the different perceptions of autistic people. Many behavior pattern are based on

perceptions, because autistic people often behave differently when they perceive

things differently.
